The goal will be to provide the necessary information and intelligence to
their management for go/no-go decision process.
The selected individual will also assist in budgeting, RFP, vendor
selection, planning and implementation.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 Meet and interview all the key stakeholders to capture their vision and
expectations from an EMR implementation.
 Share with the key stakeholders the trends and advancements in the EMR /
EHR market and future outlooks.
 Understand how they connect the market scenario and their business
strategy.
 From the findings of the above process, develop a cohesive vision and
strategy for the EMR / EHR program.
 Conduct a detailed study to capture their business and operational needs
with respect to their practice management and EMR / EHR requirements.
 Document and map-out current state and future state needs.
 Analyze gaps.
 Evaluate possible solutions available in the market and provide
high-level recommendations.
 Develop an RFP and selection process to engage, assess and select
solution vendors.
 Work with the stakeholders through project planning and implementation,
assessing and reporting progress and if project delivery meeting
expectations.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / SKILLS:
 Extensive experience in analysis and solutioning in the EMR / EHR
selection and implementation projects.
 Extensive knowledge of EMR / EHR market trends & solutions landscape.

QUALIFICATIONS
 At least 8 to 10 years in Healthcare IT experience of which 3 to 5 years
in EMR / EHR and Practice Management settings for large healthcare
enterprises.
 Bachelors Degree required.
 Masters degree preferred.
 Preference given to Information Management Services, Business or other
Science or Health Services concentration.
 Working in a health care setting and services organization required.
 High degree of responsiveness and ability to work collaboratively with
other team members in supporting multiple clients.
 Excellent organizational and communication skills.
 Excellent attention to detail, follow-through and organizational skills.
 Ability to develop strategy and objectives.
 Translate into manageable action plans.

LOCATION Based in Piscataway, NJ or Dallas Texas. Travel between the two
locations.
