Role: Project Manager(PMP,ITILm,evaluate new business opportunities,managed services,hosting solution)Location: Chelsea, MADuration: 2-3 yearsInterview: TelephoneStart Date: Immediate Requirement Description: resource needs• Present projects to the ITD Project Governance Board to assist with prioritization• Manage the program's scope, schedule, budget and resources to successfully fulfill business andtechnical requirements on-budget, on-time, on-quality and with high customer satisfaction.• Establish the program tools, artifacts and structures based on ITD’s methodology necessary to operate effectively and efficiently• Identify and assist in managing interdependencies between projects in the program • Ensure that issues, risks and other barriers to project completion are documented and monitored• Provide project status reports in the Clarity Project and Portfolio Management tool• Lead program management meetings with project sponsors, management, stakeholders and staffPreferred Qualifications:• Minimum of five to seven years in project management.• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent degree/experience.• Knowledge and/or certification with respect to ITIL• Knowledge and/or certification in Program Management• Knowledge of IT initiatives, solutions and implementations in the information technology industry• Must exercise a high level of human relations skills, understanding the human relationships involved in an operational situation.• Must be able to express findings and recommendations clearly, to differing levels of management, both verbally and in writing.• Familiarity with IT business practices and be able to interface and integrate with ITD functional areas.• Excellent human relations, communication and analysis skills, planning and organizational proficiency and good business judgment.
