Requirement Description:
Scope of Work: Position Requirements Senior level Web GUI developer
with extensive HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, JQuery, etc. experience in
designing, developing and testing Web based GUIs in a large-scale
enterprise application. The ability to work in a fast-paced, highly
collaborative, agile development environment in support of short iterative
cycles is a must. Flexibility in understanding changing business priorities
are a key for this position. Core skills include: Leading development
effort for some features on the client side Understanding Agile development
methodologies e.g. test driven development, continuous integration, code
coverage, code analysis, etc. Experience with building scalable
high-performance software while still being highly configurable Involved
with the development team in estimating, planning and refactoring software
development programs, projects and tasks Experience with complex bug
verification, testing, and program support Understanding of software design
methodologies, libraries, frameworks, components, services and
architectures and re-use in solutions Demonstrated skills in Object
Oriented analysis, design and programming Effective interpersonal
communication skills in a highly collaborative team environment Technical
Skills: Web GUI technologies: HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, JQuery Java, Java
EE, and exposure to EJB, Web Services, JMS XML Technologies: XSD, XSLT,
XPath, etc. Exposure to JDBC/JTA, PL/SQL, Oracle 10.x + Java EE App
Servers: Jboss, Weblogic Knowledge of UML, Data Modeling, Schema Modeling,
SOA Linux/x86 (RedHat preferable), Sun Solaris, HP-UX Itanium Experience
with Cloud Services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and Telecom OSSs (Service
Fulfillment and/or Assurance) a plus Typically requires 6+ years related
experience with a BS; 4-6 years experience with an MS Major Duties and
Functions Responsible for design, development, testing, planning and
coordination of features in a tightly integrated product suite in a
fast-paced, highly collaborative, agile development environment. General
Responsibilities Involved in the design and development efforts across
several products working closely with other developers, Usability Engineers
and Testers Ensure that the system and functional architecture priorities
are consistently applied across the solution, presenting their strategic
benefits and managing their use across the solution efficiently and
effectively Self directed work style, provide leadership and mentorship to
less experience professional staff
