*Position Title : Teradata Developer* *Location: Denver, CO* *Duration: 6-12 Months +* *Duties and Responsibilities :* - Work with business requirements and will act as a business/technical analyst to identify and understand source data systems. - Extensive Teradata and Teradata utilities like BTEQ,MLoad,Fastload is must - Performance tune new/existing programs that load data into the data warehouse and act as the technical resource for the data warehouse team. - Create and maintain standard development life cycle documentation as part of all development project tasks. - Adapt ETL processes to accommodate changes in source systems and new business user requirements. - Map source system data to data warehouse models, meet with Technical Architects, Data Modelers and DBAs to review design strategies for new ETL processes. - Strong technical analytical skills and an ability to provide creative solutions to problems. - Participate in certain aspects of business user consulting, system analysis, and general system designs. *Skills and Qualifications :* - Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a related field. - Knowledge of Oracle 11g Databases - Teradata and Teradata utilities and strong on Data warehousing concepts - Experience in troubleshooting and debugging - Expertise in problem solving at the highest level - Unix Scripting (KSH, CSH, PERL) *Additional Qualifications :* - Creativity in the development of business intelligence to drive intelligent solutions based on business acumen.
