   - Oracle PDBA (Tier 1) / Sr Oracle PDBA Resources (Tier 2)  /Sr Sybase
   resources (Tier 2) -

*Skills :*


   - Expertise with multiple databases including Oracle, Sybase and MySQL
   - LDAP Oracle, UNIX, Weblogic
   - RDBMS: Oracle 10g/11g support, Oracle RAC 11g, ASM, oracle clusterware
   and grid infrastructure, oracle Dataguard
   - O/S: Solaris 5.10, Red Hat Linux 6, HP-UX, IBM-AIX
   - NAGIOS, PERL and UNIX (Sun Solaris) shell scripting.
   - Expertise with OEM, PRECISE and other DB monitoring tools
   - Utilities: RMAN, expdp, impdp, sqlplus, Sqlloader, PUTTY,
   TOAD,X-manager, Attachmate reflection X

*Responsibilities :*


   - Senior DBA experienced in a multi-platform environment supporting
   varying databases of 10+ TBs.
   - Datagaurd as well as Real Application Cluster.
   - Should able to perform RAC setup (Multiple nodes), Creation of
   databases, Applying patches on RAC, performance tuning, backup and recovery
   issues with RMAN/Data Protector, trace analysis, service creation, and
   cluster and system management.
   - Designing, implementing and support highly available RAC clusters for
   companywide single sign on application, as well as other database solutions
   using advanced replication and standby (data guard) options.
   Troubleshooting connectivity issues in RAC databases.
   - Implementing backup policies as per application requirement.
   - Database cloning using RMAN and other available strategies.
   - Implementation of Golden gate and its configuration for
   RAC/Datagaurd/standalone databases. Two way replication, Golden gate
   upgrade and patching, monitoring and troubleshooting.
   - Proficient in implementing different database Backup and recovery
   strategies and database disaster recovery exercises
   - Planning and executing database major and minor upgrades including
   PSU.
   - Monitors user access to databases and maintains database security.
   - Should have strong experience in Performance tuning & Query
   optimization. Monitor and optimize the performance of databases
   - Should able to perform database object Maintenance activities
   - Good understanding and knowledge of shell scripting and hands on
   experience on UNIX environment.
   - Ensure Project is executed in compliance with the SLAs and AT&T
   processes.
   - Planning and coordination with application teams to understand
   business requirements. Participates in and drives discussions on production
   architecture and support processes.
   - Participate for 24x7 operations and supports of production databases.
   Should be open to provide on Call Support for critical issues
   - Provides support for business projects, product launches and release
   management.
