*Job Title:* Senior QA Analyst *Duration: *1+ years *Location:* Vernon Hills, IL *Interview process: *Phone + F2F ( Can try Skype but cannot confirm) *Summary:* The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst performs manual functional testing of the company’s software applications to assure conformance to business and technical requirements. Uses the company’s Quality Assurance Functional Testing Practice, acts as a test/project lead, and provides appropriate and timely status and communication to stakeholders. *Education/Experience: * · 7+ years of Quality Assurance manual functional testing experience *Skills and Competencies*: · Demonstrated ability to analyze requirements and create efficiently designed and planned test cases. · Demonstrated ability to scale testing efforts to support aggressive agile-like project timelines. · Strong test design, risk analysis, and prioritization skills. · Demonstrated ability acting as a Quality Assurance test/project lead, including planning, estimating and prioritizing. · Ability to multi-task, work with a sense of urgency and adapt to changing requirement and project directions. · Understanding of several IT technical platforms, and application development methodologies. · Ability to self-motivate, work independently and with minimum supervision. · Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycles and Quality Assurance testing practices, methodologies, and tools. · Strong written and verbal communication skills. *Preferred Qualifications: * · HP Quality Center experience. · Experience in order processing, order fulfillment, warehouse processing. · Exposure to test automation. · Bachelor's degree in information technology *Key Areas of Responsibility: * · Perform analysis of business requirements for accuracy, completeness, redundancy, ambiguity, and testability. · Define testing scope, approach, risks, and assumptions. · Design, build, and prioritize test cases. · Create and maintain the testing project schedule. · Executes testing. · Report and communicate test status and metrics to project stakeholders. *Responsibilities: * · Work with members of Quality Assurance, Application Development, and Project Management to assure timely completion of testing plans. · Lead small to medium sized testing efforts. · Log, categorize, explain, and retesting defects. · Suggest areas of improvement for the Quality Assurance Functional Testing Practice -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "American Vendor--IT Consulting" group.
