Without this resource, we will impact our ability to deliver commitment for the upgrade of the DB2 Mainframe software. The initial phase of the project was completed in FY14 and the remainder is to be completed FY15. This project is required to insure Operational Stability and and continued software support. Significant software support cost could be required if were are unable to complete the upgrade. The resource will perform the required DB2 Version Upgrade mainframe DB2 systems programmer to support the upgrade of DB2 Version 9 to Version 10 Install mainframe operating systems and program products. This contractor will play a critical role in the support and systems integration of the mainframe infrastructure and vendor supplied software. The contractor will work closely with team members to assure successful software implementations and continued effective use of installed computer resources. The contractor will be responsible for providing technical support and aid in problem identification and resolution.
