A Senior Functional Analyst plays a major part in the creation of a new system or a significant enhancement to an existing system. Senior FAs are typically staffed on large and complex projects or on several smaller projects. They are responsible for working closely with client staff to understand and to flesh out all of the complexities and intricacies of a project and to be a liaison between that client and their team. Tasks that a Senior Functional Analyst will take on include managing the documentation effort of one or more Functional Analysts, helping to facilitate client teams to consensus-driven solutions, working with the technical lead to determine the scheduling and distribution of development, creating and running a comprehensive testing strategy, new user training and post implementation support. *Core duties/Responsibilities* · Assist in developing and shaping solutions for clients (web sites, web-based applications, etc.) that solve tangible business problems · Define and document business requirements, business process flows and diagrams · Research and prioritize user requirements and functional requirements · Facilitate client decision-making at levels (informal working sessions, formal reviews, etc.) · Document and revise functional requirements and specifications · Create use cases using standard modeling formats (such as UML) · Provide review and input into other deliverables as appropriate (e.g. page schematics or interaction designs) · Map functionality to system components and develop system test plans and test scripts · Manage testing processes and teams *Required Skills/experience* · Assist in developing and shaping solutions for clients (web sites, web-based applications, etc.) that solve tangible business problems · Define and document business requirements, business process flows and diagrams · Research and prioritize user requirements and functional requirements · Facilitate client decision-making at levels (informal working sessions, formal reviews, etc.) · Document and revise functional requirements and specifications · Create use cases using standard modeling formats (such as UML) · Provide review and input into other deliverables as appropriate (e.g. page schematics or interaction designs) · Map functionality to system components and develop system test plans and test scripts · Manage testing processes and teams - Thanks & Regards *klntek* 324 E.
