Primary area will be developing tools for data generation and management, with data sets ranging from dozens of terabytes to several petabytes. "Passionate about quality" means that, as much as possible, the team will prefer defect prevention to defect discovery. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a practical and theoretical understanding of how to design tests and test strategies that best validate the storage, accessing and processing of large datasets in a financial domain. Technical requirements: * At least 7 years' experience in development/testing * At least 3 years' experience coding for production in Java * At least one year's hands-on experience in Agile production environments * Has worked with ETL and related technologies * BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent. Desirable but not required: * Facility in math (calculus, topology, graph theory, numerical analysis....) * Experience in programming in Scala Key success factors: * Nimble and quick practical and theoretical thinking. * Integrity and transparency in discussion and reporting. * Aggressive execution. * Feels responsibility for the team as well as for quality in the product .
