Requirement Description: SCOPE OF SERVICES * The five areas of GIS related work identified are: 1) Modern GIS Applications Development, specifically GIS Web Mapping Applications using ArcGIS Server 2) Legacy GIS Applications Support specifically using ESRI ArcIMS, MapObjects, ASP 3) Geographic Data Development 4) Geographic Information Systems Quality Assurance 5) Geographic Information Systems Technical Support MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE * 5+ Years continuous experience in GIS based applications, and the related analysis of such systems. * 5+ Years continuous experience using ESRI ArcGIS products (ArcMap, ArcCatalog, ArcToolbox), ArcGIS Server and ArcSDE). * Strong understanding Relational Database concepts. * 3+ Years continuous experience in database administration using SQL, including MS SQL Server. * Strong Experience using HTML, and web application design. * 5+ yrs continuous experience in Systems Analysis * +3 yrs of hands on experience in building GIS infrastructures such as ArcSDE and ArcGIS installation, configuration & administration * +2 yrs of hands on Amazon Web Services administration * 5+ Years continuous solid hands-on experience in software or systems development, testing and deployment. * Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college. * Demonstrate ability to work in a collaborative, creative, and results-oriented environment. * 1+ Year experience in a project leader capacity, or as a major contributor on a complex project. DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Experience in all phases of SDLC and standard SDLC methodologies such as Waterfall, * RUP, Agile to produce deliverables. Solid exposure in using configuration management, version control, and, testing tools. Proficient with ESRI JavaScript API 3.x as well with other JavaScript framework such as * Dojo, JQuery, Backbone & Underscore Experience in working with New York City government agencies.
