Position: Sr. System Engineer Location: Reston, VA Longevity: 4/25 – 12/19/14 Travel: None Openings: 1 Start: 4/25 SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS • 8+ years’ Experience supporting applications or technology operating in UNIX and LINUX environments with SOA and Java components • 8+ years of experience in the design and production support of applications and technology infrastructure in a 24/7 production environment • 8+ years of experience performing Root Cause analysis, planning and implementation of application and technology infrastructure changes and managing problem tickets to full resolution in a 24/7 production environment • Experience and confidence working with all levels of management, acting as the liaison and central point of contact for project aimed at remediating root causes of systemic issues. • Excellent written and verbal skills.
