*609-897-9670 x 2183 Position: Application Packaging Engineer* *Location: Deerfield/IL * *Interview:: Telephonic the Skype Duration: 12+ Months* *Job Description:* Role Application Packaging Engineer Mandatory Technical Skills • Expertise in Windows XP and Windows 7 Operating Systems: Knowledge of registry, installation procedures, bat scripts, network mapping • Experience in Install Shield: Creating, customizing, and installing MSI packages • Experience in process automation - Automating MSI package creation and installation • Knowledge on creation of Merge modules, Packaging Customization. • Ability to architect & design the solution, create a plan to execute (roadmap), and build the solution is required (end to end implementation ability including hands-on development of the solution) • Proficient knowledge and ability to develop this MSI in the chosen programming language. • Knowledge of IT Infrastructure and client server applications. Desirable Technical Skills • Knowledge in VMWare and ThinApping is a plus. • Knowledge in developing and compiling code in Visual C++ and Centura is a plus. Mandatory Functional Skills • Ability to work independently and prioritize work with minimal supervision. • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively. • Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast paced support environment. • Experience and proven track record in forming relationships with internal customers.
