Role: Coherence SME Location: Charlotte, NC Duration: Long Term · Develop applications using Oracle Coherence Grid technologies and standards. · Develop using the J2EE platform; also required are OOP paradigm skills, as well as experience with J2EE APIs, protocols and development of multi tiered applications. Examples of current J2EE application program interfaces (APIs) are EJB, JDBC, JMS, JNDI, JTA, etc. · Work with other teams, analyzing requirements and writing Technical Design Documents. · Take lead in all the work with minimum supervision. · Evaluate and implement new initiatives on process improvement and technology initiatives. · Analyze functional needs that drive the analysis and technical design of quality technical solutions; · Recommend solutions that are aligned with business / IT strategies and complies with corporate architectural standards. · Serve as SME in all aspects of systems / applications software technology and / or application components. · Resolve application and technical problems of the highest complexity. · Analyze performance and capacity issues of the highest complexity with systems / applications software and/or application components. · Continuously cultivate knowledge of emerging technologies. · Serve as initial point of escalation for all processing and operational issues. · Excel at working collaboratively with IT staff on development, troubleshooting, and other technical efforts. · Perform software architecture and systems design. · Translate business requirements into functional / technical specifications; oversees implementation of these specifications. · Draw on extensive knowledge base (e.g., infrastructure, technology, and applications) to analyze problems of the greatest complexity and contribute to troubleshooting efforts. · Leverage excellent design understanding and/or capabilities (e.g., database, application code, reusable objects, and interfaces) to optimize development efforts in a distributed environment. · Understand operational nuances across multiple business units / functional areas. · Responsible for assisting in customization and development of application systems · Design, program, and code software in response to specific business requirements · Understand how to optimize joint development efforts through appropriate project design, database use, code creation, and software architecture · Develop design specifications in compliance with IT Architecture · Resolve user issues and suggestions If interested, please reply with matching profiles along with their contact details, rate, availability, current location details.
