Please review the requirement and if you are interested then reply back with your updated resume and contact details ASAP to [email protected] Role: SAS (clinical) Data Analyst Duration: 12 months Location: New London, CT Interview: Phone+ skype+ in person (for local)..will accept out of state candidates No of positions: 8-10 The Big Picture – Top Skills Should You Possess: · Experience of Clinical data and medical dictionaries · Experience of extracting, manipulating, summarizing, analyzing and presenting data using SAS procedures. · Experience of SAS/MACRO, SQL and SAS/BASE procedures · Experience with study reporting · Knowledge of basic statistics, relational database principles and Oracle Clinical What You’ll Be Doing: · Create submission-ready standard data presentations and data sets using standard coding and following OPD (Organizational Process Definition) processes including SDLC · Conduct interim analysis, QC, eSub work, as required · Understand and plan work to delivery timelines including allowing time for internal FSP QC, as appropriate · Work with supervisor to balance conflicting priorities · Understand timelines for and milestones affecting their work and alert supervisor and PoC to potential slippage · Develop *appropriate QC programs* as defined at kick-off or by PoC · Run routine QC programs · Develop and validate output programs using SAS · Communicate accurate task and project timelines, informing appropriate individuals (PoC/CPM/etc) of completion status · Write technical documents (e.g., code specifications and program documentation) concise and unambiguous. · Carry out rework as requested by supervisor/PoC · In workgroup meetings or in immersion meetings provide feedback to PoC supervisor and work group members on issues related to PoC deliverables. · *Detect errors in detailed work and corrects them* (e.g., reviews tables/listings, edit checks output and SAS programs to ensure quality of deliverables). · Carry out rework as requested by supervisor, PoC · Follow escalation process and neither suppress nor over-escalate issues · Contribute to close-out evaluations and any discussion What You Need to Bring to the Table: · Experience of extracting, manipulating, summarizing, analyzing and presenting data using SAS procedures. · Experience of SAS/MACRO, SQL and SAS/BASE procedures · Some knowledge of SAS/GRAPH and Statistical procedures · Experience of Clinical data and medical dictionaries · Experience with study reporting · Previous experience using CDARS – Preferable · Knowledge of basic statistics, relational database principles and Oracle Clinical · Understanding of clinical needs for data/presentations · Knowledge of routine statistical methodology and its application · Well-defined to clinical data programming -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "American Vendor--IT Consulting" group.
