*Job Title:* Sr Java Analyst *Duration: 6+ months* *Location: *Auburn Hills, MI, US Need Locals….. Project Description: Warranty claims processing is a group of mainframe processes which interact with each other to prepare claims for payment, update master vehicle information, and provide paid claims data to internal and external systems which rely on this data for their processing. “Claims” are requests for payment, submitted via a variety of systems on a daily basis by dealers, auction houses, and customer care representatives. These requests seek reimbursement for warranty or product compliance action work performed on a vehicle. Claim requests can also be for fees submitted by dealers for services such as certified pre-owned (CPO) certification and for Audi Care maintenance contracts or for capturing damage and repair information for issues which occurred during the transporting of a vehicle from a port to a dealer. Warranty claims processing consists of the following components: - Claims processing - Warranty claims financial processing A new solution is required to migrate this processing off of the mainframe, one that overcomes the current limitation of the number of lines allowed on a repair order. The goal of this initiative is to find an alternative solution for warranty claims processing, one that reduces the footprint and reliance on the mainframe.
