Position: Jr. Project Manager (PMO) / PMO Project Coordinator
Location: New York City, NY
Duration: 6+ Month Contract
Interview: Telephonic and In person
The candidate will be responsible for understanding and executing Project
Management Office (PMO) processes, reporting deadlines, bench-marking and
financial boundaries to enable the allocation of resources and costs to
projects
Experience:
·
Financial product knowledge is required in order to be effectively planning and
managing projects / tasks
·
Proficient in MicroSoft Suites – Word / XLS / MPP / PPT/ Visio
·
Prior Financial industry work knowledge
·
Highly-motivated team player - Enthusiastic and eager to learn
·
Demonstrates initiative / Pro-active - Dedicated and reliable
·
Organized / manages time well - Detail oriented
·
Strong written and verbal communication skills - Capable of dealing with
diversity
·
Ability to work in a virtual team, across boundaries - Ability to multi-task /
self-sufficient
·
Ability to establish direction and drive progress - Knowledge of financial
products
·
Excellent interpersonal skills to foster working relationships with all
stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
·
Familiarity with Regulations that apply to a US Broker / Dealer and how they
relate to submissions to the SEC and FED (Dodd-Frank experience a huge plus)
·
Familiarity with complex system integration and software development life cycles
