Monitor and Maintain Oracle Databases. . Develop, Maintain, enhances databases and information systems by defining physical structures and organization of databases and data sets. . Reorganizes databases at appropriate intervals, monitoring performance, implementing backup, recovery and restart procedures, utilizing the latest releases of database software in order to optimize performance, minimize storage requirements and support applications or systems areas. . Manage and Support Oracle Databases . Manages conversion of older systems by analyzing database programs, systems and design manuals in order to permit conversion from one hardware and/or software. . Provide technical assistance to user areas application development efforts by responding to questions and inquiries concerning best practices in database or information systems. . Prepare executive summary status reports by reviewing progress reports of scheduled tasks, activity . Review specifications for the development, maintenance and enhancement of database systems and new information systems by analyzing user requirements and recommending appropriate system configurations. . Assist in the selection of database access methods and utilizing state-of-the-art knowledge in computer systems technology, in order to develop and enhance new or existing database and information systems. . Create database system. . Monitor and Maintain Postgre SQL Databases. . Develop, Maintain, enhance databases and information systems by defining physical structures and organization of databases and data sets. . Required Skills . Minimum 8 Years Experience with Oracle databases, related utilities and tools. . Minimum 8 Years Experience with underlying operating systems. . Minimum 8 Years Experience with physical and logical database design. . Minimum 8 Years Experience with Oracle and operating system performance tuning and monitoring. . Minimum 8 Years Experience with ALL Oracle backup and recovery scenarios. . Minimum 8 Years Experience with Oracle data integrity, data encryption and security management. . Minimum 8 Years Experience with PostgreSQL, tuning, backup and recovery and database maintenance. Desired Skills . 8 Years Experience in code migration, database change management and data management through the various stages of the development life cycle. . 8 Years Ability to interact with a wide variety of personnel within the Agency.
