Job Title: Database Administrator Location: Richmond/VA Duration: 10 months In person interviews only *local candidates strongly preferred *mgr will ONLY conduct in-person interviews, NO Skype, NO exceptions Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience . Bachelor's degree in IT (Computer Science, Information Systems, etc.) or related field. . Minimum of 10 years experience in Oracle Database design, development and Administrative support with different operating system level, Windows, Unix, Linux . Minimum of 8 to 10 years experience in Oracle Relational Database 10g, 11g and 12c (optional) including administer Relational databases, Schemas, Indexes, views, materialized views, synonyms, procedures & database triggers . Knowledge of Oracle spatial data procedures and concepts is preferred, Highly desired of 5 to 6 Years . Minimum of 8 Years of experience with Oracle technologies ( Security, Partitioning, SQL and DB Performance Tuning, Memory Management, statistics gathering, auditing) . Minimum of 5 years experience in Oracle RAC Administration, ASM, AWR, Data guard, Standby databases and Grid Control Administration. . Minimum of 5 years experience in Backup and Recovery using RMAN in Oracle 10g or higher versions . Minimum of 5 years experience in problem solving techniques and other database related issues, Ability to quickly learn new business and technical concepts in a fast paced service focused environment . Ability to analyze and tune complex update or selection queries against very large data sets, develop server-side PL/SQL, Procedure, Functions and Triggers using Oracle new features for complex architecture Required minimum of 5 Years . Highly motivated with the ability to work well independently and within a team environment and ability to cope well under pressure . Knowledge of using SQL Developer and TOAD, Erwin and any other tools Required 8 Years . Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server 2008 or later, SSIS, and T-SQL is optional . Familiarity with JDBC connectivity concepts Required 4 Years . Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Access Required 4 Years .
