| Duties & Responsibilites : | -As a PHP/MySQL Developer you will be responsible for analyzing, creating and modifying custom business applications as needed while maintaining appropriate documentation.
-You must have extensive knowledge and comfort working with PHP and MySQL in LAMP or WAMP environments.
-You must have a high degree of proficiency with regards to secure coding practices. You must be able to follow software development processes, follow a detailed project plan and generate work estimates. You must be able to take assignments and direction from agency management and technical lead staff.

• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Must be able to work independently
• Must be able to work in a diverse team environment.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies
• Must possess problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task
• Must be able to work around projects and deadlines with readiness to put in extra efforts when necessary

Required Skills/Experience:
• Working experience with PHP
• Experience developing MySQL database applications and creating SQL queries
• Experience with Object Oriented design and programming concepts
• Experience with software analysis, design and programming
• Experience working with PHP frameworks (CodeIgniter, Symfony, Laravel, Phalcon or other frameworks).
• Extensive experience with highly complex application security requirements
• Experience working with enterprise software solutions
Preferred Skills/Experience:
• Proficient with the Microsoft Windows and Office products
• Public sector experience (Federal, State or Local Government) |
