Only GC-EAD/GC & USC Job Title: SAS Tester Job Location: Chicago IL Duration: 6+ Months (Potential Extension) Required Skills: . Functional Testing, Performance Testing, Defect Management . Ability to navigate and step through SAS code in PC SAS / Enterprise SAS . Ability to navigate Teradata to perform ad-hoc data checks etc. . Strong verbal and written communication skills, inter-personal skills to coordinate review and approval process with the client resources. . Need a go-getter and a doer to be able to lead and execute the assigned work without constant oversight. Job Role / Responsibilities: . One man team to conduct the testing and defect management effort for SAS coding renewal project. . The project team is responsible for renewing existing code using modular and reusable modules and macros against a new data warehouse with data architecture different from the existing code. . This individual will be responsible for understanding the agreed-upon testing approach, create detailed test plan and test cases, execute the test cases in PC SAS or Enterprise SAS, perform delta analysis of test results from old code and new code, have analytical aptitude to rationalize the differences in the result set, identify and log defects, coordinate with the client SMEs to triage and conduct root cause analysis for delta and close the defects. . Individual will also be responsible for performance testing and usability testing of the restructured code. Preferred experience: .
