| Duties & Responsibilites : | local candidates strongly preferred
-The Network Services Engineer will provide technical leadership and infrastructure support to include the Wide-area Network (WAN), Local-Area Networks (LANs), Wireless LANs, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), and network management and administration.
-The selected candidate will configure, monitor, and maintain network and security hardware and software components of complex, highly available, highly redundant enterprise computing systems.
-The individual will assist with all efforts in support of the University’s network environment including engineering, implementation and integration, and technical service and support.
-Apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve highly advanced complex issues in support of business processing requirements.
-Anticipates and mitigates potential attacks to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all network systems.
-Be involved in network projects while provide technical assistance to the Project Management Office (PMO). This position will report directly to the Network Services Manager.
Required / Desired Experience:
-5 or more years experience in Network Engineering field. Extensive experience in installing, maintaining, and configuring network services such as rou-Required-5 Years
-Considerable knowledge of Juniper EX series switches in virtual chassis and Juniper SRX firewalls in high availability clusters. Knowledge of network-Required-5 Years
-Must possess strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills. Ability to quickly analyze data and problem solve.-Required-5 Years
-JNCIP, JNCIS, JNCIA, CCNP, or CCNA Certification.-Required-1 Years
