| Duties & Responsibilites : | local candidates strongly preferred -Five or more years of relevant work experience in Information Technology department with significant amount of experience in financial analysis area. -IT Financial Analyst will develop the annual plan for the agency’s IT budget requests and manage the department’s expenditures. -Will perform monthly program/project expense forecasting and analysis, and assist with the review and analysis of the monthly Infrastructure bill. ---Perform procurement/vendor financial and pricing analysis. -Will be responsible for supporting executive decision making and presenting the financial aspects of projects to senior management. -Requires understanding projects, applications, IT infrastructure and the key drivers of cost. Required & Desired Skills: -Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Accounting or Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting or Finance required. -Minimum eight (8) years experience managing the operation of fiscal, budgetary, and accounting programs- -Minimum five (5) years experience preparing financial and statistical analyses and/or developing and maintaining program budgets -Experience in accounting and financial principles and practices, and the analysis and reporting of financial data, budgeting and long range planning Required 5 Years -Highly analytical, strong problem solving skills, careful and precise in all tasks, driven to improve processes Required -Excellent written and verbal communications skills and ability to operate with all levels of the organization with a great attention to details Required -Proficient knowledge and use of the MS Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access Required 5 Years -Ability to work cross functionally and interact effectively as financial lead with all IT groups -Ability to interact effectively with a variety of individuals -Ability to interpret laws, policies, and regulations -Ability to write clear and decisive planning documents both strategic and near term -Ability to establish and meet deadlines Interview Process: In Person |
