| Duties & Responsibilites : | Skills Required:
-CICS/CICSPLEX, z/OS, WebSphere Application Server, WebSphere MQ, Omegamon, TMON, AbendAid, TSO/ISPF
-Ensure seamless operations of more than 350 CICS regions in Production, Training, and Integration by identifying/isolating/troubleshooting and providing resolution recommendations for work stoppages and outages; to include, Short on Storage, storage violations and MaxTask conditions
-Perform system software monitoring to include: DB2, WebSphere MQ and WebSphere Application Server to identify and isolate problems as needed
-Consult with various levels of management, operations staff, developers and customers when necessary, and serve as a technical advisor to the Task Manager or his/her designee
-Perform full system dumps, snap dumps and system traces; read system and application dumps performed and provide recommendations and basic resolution activities as needed
-Recommend modification of systemic configuration parameters to improve operational functionality and system capacity
-Perform source lib and load lib updates to correct operational issues as needed
Experience Required:
- 9 years of experience in one or more specialized technical or functional areas
- Experience monitoring CICS 4.1 or newer versions
- Experience with MQ Series and WebSphere
