*Requirement : Oracle DBA* *Location: San Francisco* *Term: Contract* Candidate will be required to : · Develop PL/SQL coding, SQL reporting and unix scripting · Develop detailed data models and entity relationship diagrams. · Install, configure, administer and manage Oracle 11g databases · Install Oracle Streams, RAC and Data Guard · Performance monitoring, Database and SQL tuning · Perform database Backups and Recovery. Knowledge of RMAN · Design, test, implement, maintain and control the organization's physical and relational across multiple platforms and computing environments. · Participate in the development of data architectures and database management policies and standards for current and future applications. · Provide in-depth consulting services in the identification and resolution of database issues in a timely and professional manner. · Participate in the planning, design and usage of data resources. · Provide support to development team on infrastructure and DBA Support. · Provide a daily status of application and performance. · Design archival and purging strategy with partition tables. *Minimum Qualifications* 7+ years of demonstrated Oracle Administration and Design experience including but not limited to: · Minimum 5 years of experience with PL/SQL and Data modeling · Demonstrated experience in performance monitoring & tuning using SQLT or equivalent · Proven experience in designing and maintenance of large partitioned tables · Demonstrated experience with Oracle Streams, Data Guard and RAC administration · Demonstrated experience in database installs and patching · Demonstrated experience in Backup and Recovery using Rman · Demonstrated experience in Oracle Grid administration · Proven experience in production troubleshooting and analysis skills using AWR · Minimum 5 years of experience with large databases ( at least 1-4TB) *Preferred Skills* · Proven experience with MySQL or other databases a plus · Experience in SQL packages, trigger and stored procedures · Demonstrated experience with UNIX and Shell Scripting · Demonstrated experience in physical and logical layout of database · Demonstrated experience in ETL, sql*loader and datapump · Experience with Autosys JIL scheduling and NDM scripting · Experience with web-based applications (Weblogic and Tomcat) · Demonstrated experience in designing Disaster Recovery solution · Demonstrated experience in Change Management and SDLC · Knowledge of Version Control System using Subversion -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "American Vendor--IT Consulting" group.
