*Position: SQL DBA* *Location: Hamilton, NJ* *Contract Duration: 12 Months* *Interview Process: Face to Face* *Description* The DBA is responsible for data analysis and database management. DBAs typically are involved in maintenance, enhancement, designing of data dictionaries, physical and logical database models, and performance tuning. *Years of Experience:* 5 plus years *Education:* 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study *Role Description:* · All roles specified in DBA 1 & 2 plus: · Highly skilled at database design, installations, conversions. · Responsible for database backup and recovery procedures, access security and database integrity, physical data storage design and data storage management. · Participates in Database Management System selection and maintains database performance. · Expertise in specific Database Management Systems. · Knowledge of various Database Management System products. · Provide status of work to Project Team Lead. · Engage in ongoing process improvement. *Experience Required:* · *MCSA SQL Server 2012 Required * · MCSA SQL Server 2008 Required · MCSE Data Platform or Business Intelligence Preferred Required · Knowledge and extensive experience with MS SQL Server 2012 Required 6 Years · Familiarity with Data Center best practices, policies, and procedures Required 6 Years · Knowledge of data base/data dictionary systems and applications including the software internals of MS SQL Server 2012 Required 6 Years · Extensive knowledge of coding and analysis of stored procedures in MS SQL Server 2012 Required 6 Years · Experience with MS SQL Server 2012 optimization and efficiency analysis Required 6 Years · Knowledge and experience with TFS Desired · Experience with MS SQL Server 2012 optimization and performance monitoring and tuning Desired 6 Years · Experience with Microsoft SSRS Desired 6 Years · Knowledge of procedures and techniques involved in making estimates and analyses of the capabilities of existing and proposed data bases within enterp Required 6 Years · Knowledge of simulation and modeling techniques, particularly as used in data base/data dictionary design and implementation efforts.
