| Duties & Responsibilites : | Local Candidate Preferred:
Candidates must have experience developing _javascript_ applications using modern MVC architectures such as Angular.js, Ember.js, Bootstraps.js etc., be knowledgeable of client-server design paradigms, and have familiarity with application servers and application deployment.
Other essential skills include experience with data driven applications, user interface design, integration, and testing.
The ideal candidate will possess the UI development experience in support of at least 2-3+ UI development projects utilizing the latest _javascript_ Frameworks mentioned.
- Serve as a strong UI technical resource for the development team
- Transform design mock-ups into cross-browser compatible HTML/CSS layouts and implement dynamic elements and reusable libraries with _javascript_, JQuery and new technologies such as AngularJS.
- Integrate and/or build web services using server side technologies such as JBoss RestEasy, Node.JS, .NET, or PHP.
- Participate in technical discussions regarding flexible layout, workflow, choice of dynamic elements, and how to structure the code for reuse, scalability and effective maintenance using CSS, _javascript_, JQuery, Angular, Java/Spring and other relevant technologies.
- Work with team members to produce robust code scalable for specific needs
- Provide status updates to management on major milestones of high priority issues
- Work closely with management to continuously design and deliver new features
- Assist and direct unit test and related test automation activities
Qualifications –
-Strong proficiency with _javascript_, jQuery with a good understanding of asynchronous calls in JS, angular ‘promises’.
-Hands on development with AngularJS, Bootstrap and responsive design
-Must be proficient with Node.JS npm, Grunt, and Bower
-Excellent UX skills and understanding of design principles and user interaction.
-Strong proficiency with HTML5 and CSS3
-Experience building back-end RESTful web-services, using technologies such as .NET, Node.JS, Java, PHP connecting them via AngularJS is a plus
· Experience working on frontend development with Drupal or SharePoint is a plus
