The day to day scope includes but not limited to: - Write new or modify existing SSIS packages to facilitate conversion process (complexity level medium – skill set neeed SSIS) - Write various tasks in SSIS, and stored procedures using T-SQL used by SSIS tasks (complexity level medium to high – skill set needed - SSIS combined with SQL Server developer) - Troubleshoot performance issues which may occur within SSIS, stored procedures or in the database (skills medium to high – skill set need DBA – how to make use of DMVs available in SQL Server to get to root cause of the problem) - Deploy conversion database in ATPS Blue in different environments, and support such as security, performance issues, etc. (complexity level medium – skill set needed DBA) - Manage, and deploy packages, database projects to start the conversion process (complexity level medium – skill set needed TFS, PowerShell, SSIS Project deployment model) The selected resource will also assist IT in our rewrite of the Automated Title Processing System (ATPS) databases from Oracle 9i to SQL Server 2012 using .NET technologies. The position will assist IT staff in data migration process (using SSIS as a primary tool), and rewriting of ATPS application.
