| Duties & Responsibilites : | -Detailed design, build, and configuration for WebSphere server platform and web related components -Build /Configure / Maintain Websphere Application Server. -Function as a technical expert in problem resolution for Web and WebSphere infrastructure hardware and software issues -Establish and document proactive procedures and processes to maintain and operate Infrastructure systems -Provide estimates of work for applications server build, configuration, and support -Basic awareness of other infrastructure technologies : data network / storage / web servers / SSL / MQ / WSRR •Ability to collaborate with other infrastructure engineers, service operations, architects, and project managers on application server design, configuration, and performance issues. •Provide weekend support for project infrastructure and application deployment support on a rotational basis. Required Skills: -Basic scripting knowledge : perl / shell / jython / jacl / wsadmin / HTML / Java -Unix (Linux / AIX) experience -Windows 2008/2012 experience -WAS 7 / 8 / 8.5 application server experience -IBM HTTP Server and IIS Server experience -DataPower -Experience with service oriented Architecture and Web Services -Experience with configuration use of Java Application Performance Monitoring tools Nice to have skills: -BPM experience optional -Big-IP F5 experience optional -Nice to have WebSphere MQ experience -Nice to have Secure Proxy Server (SPS) experience -Ability to learn new technologies with limited direction -Ability to effectively communicate issues and solutions across all levels of the organization -Ability to manage infrastructure projects such as patching cycles and migrations |
