| Duties & Responsibilites : | -Responsible for the quality and delivery of system commitments on schedule, using assigned resources and following standards.
-Participate in the proposal, analysis, design and development activities while guiding others through the project life cycle on small projects.
Essential
-Lead small projects or part of a larger project, demonstrate solid technical knowledge, demonstrate an understanding of business concepts, require moderate direction, give moderate direction, handle complex problems, possesses solid knowledge of the project development processes and/or SDLC, have solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Develop and establish project plans on small projects or a part of a larger project.
- Work with others to determine project priorities and schedules.
- Lead project development and support activities. Understand and participate in all levels phases of the project.
- Responsible for reviewing project team deliverables to ensure quality (design walk-through, test results, etc.) and that existing standards and regulatory requirements are met.
- Respond to escalated problems and questions. Ensure that issues are resolved.
- Assist with project budget responsibility on small projects.
- Provide feedback to team members and their manager on project performance.
- Assist in the development of productivity metrics and gather results.
Required Skills & Experience:
-Good understanding of business concepts and knowledge of industry technologies.
-Experience in all stages of systems development and support.
-Strong team player, willing and able to support other team members as needed to achieve project goals.
-Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
-Ability to motivate, coach and lead. Data archival and migration project experience is a plus.
-Education and/or Experience: Include the education and experience that is necessary to perform the job satisfactorily.
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred or relevant work experience.
-5+ years of systems experience
-3 years minimum of project management experience.
