- candidates must have SQL/client-server testing background:
- Strong written and spoken English skills are required as this resource will be interviewing SME's for testing requirements and documenting test cases that others may be asked to execute.
- Create and execute comprehensive manual test cases that will determine optimal system functionality according to documented requirements. (45%)
•Conduct system and regression testing as directed.
•Assist other internal departments, external vendors and business partners with testing.
•Support testing activities through identification and creation of test data.
- Analyze test results in order to Client and validate defects, errors, configuration issues and interoperability flaws. (25%)
•Be involved in risk analysis of defects.
•Produce reports and documentation for all testing efforts, results, activities, data, logging, and tracking.
•Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management.
•Assist in the defect management process, requirement traceability and defect remediation
- Evaluate, plan, design, develop, and deploy testing techniques for new applications, products, and/or enhancements to existing applications for System Testing. (15%)
•Advocate for the appropriate mix of test approaches, tools, and processes required to support productive test operations
•Provide testability/QA feedback to product engineering teams through participation in design reviews and other interactions
- Ensure testing activities will allow applications to meet business requirements and systems goals, fulfill system requirements, and identify and validate systems issues. (15%)
•Collaborate with analysts, developers and system owners in the testing of software applications.
•Analyze documentation and technical specifications of any new application under deployment or consideration to determine its intended functionality.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
•5 years of experience testing Client-Server/Web applications
•5 year of experience documenting test cases from requirements or technical documents
•5 year of experience executing manual tests and recording results
•5 year of experience documenting defects
•3 year of experience with testing tools such as Quality Center
