*Position : User Experience (UX) Interaction Designer Duration: 6+ Months* *Location: San Diego, CA* *Phone Hire!!! * *US Citizens and Green Card only* *Essential Functions:* The User Experience (UX) Interaction Designer will be engaged in a variety of UI design activities and is expected to plan and conduct these activities. *These activities may include:* Subject-matter expert (SME) interviews task analysis conceptual designs low-fidelity prototyping high-fidelity prototyping diagramming of IAs scrum team meetings *Education and Experience:* Degree in the field of Cognitive Science, Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Interactive Design (IxD, Psychology, Software Engineering, Design or other applicable area, or equivalent work experience) *Additional 5+ years industry work experience in Interaction Design* Experience observing users in their normal work environment for the purposes of informing a design process. Experience designing information architectures or diagramming site navigation *Experience using Visio, Axure, Omnigraffle, Balsamiq or other software tools to design product interfaces *Experience developing mockups of interfaces for software products Familiar with usability heuristics Self-directed; able to take independently manage projects and drive them to completion.
