| Duties & Responsibilites : | Local Candidate Preferred:
-Develop test cases and perform test case execution using the agile methodology against the web based WFN application. Tester will focus on testing Partner Access project.
- Utilize requirements, design documents, and test plans to write and execute test cases. Exploratory and ad hoc testing are required.
- Confer with Product Strategy, Analysis, and Development to identify appropriate plan for issue resolution when requirements are incomplete.
- Validate data through both the front end application UI and the backend database.
- Troubleshoot and submit defects via the ClearQuest Rally defect tracking tools.
- Escalate blocking issues to Project Lead or Management.
- Submit test plan defects.
- Work under general supervision with direction provided by a manager or lead.
- Report status, track time, and log test cases executed.
- Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Participate in project meetings.
- Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
Skills Required:
- Data migration testing experience is a plus.
- Infrastructure testing and Integrated testing experience are a plus.
- ClearQuest Rally defect tracking system experience is a plus.
- Solid experience with QTP Automation is a plus.
Desired Skills:
- Sr. level web-based tester preferred.
- 5+ years manual testing and 3+ years web based testing experience is required.
- A certain degree of flexibility, creativity, and independent thought is required.
- QA Tester must have strong working knowledge of Quality Assurance methodologies and the SDLC.
- Strong experience with backend data validation and writing SQL queries is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication is required.
- Strong working knowledge and experience with Agile methodology is required.
- Experience with Human Capital Management or Employment Benefit systems is a plus.
