| Duties & Responsibilites : | Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for the design, pilot, & implementation of the software quality assurance review processes. This role will involve Design of Test Scripts, Cases and execution of functional load/stress testing
- Write clear and concise test plans and test cases.
- Translate technical requirements to test plans and test cases
- Align NJDA Software development processes with software testing processes and procedures.
- Educate the rest of the staff on software testing best practices
- Recommended and develop Quality Management best practices with in the IT organization. Including the development of testing processes and procedures.
- Conduct testing of web application testing including load/stress testing
- Document all the policies ,processes and templates for testing
- Clearly communicate issues to developers and other stakeholders
- Conduct software quality phase end review activities (work product and process) for each software project and produce the required quality assurance reports, as specified in the project's quality assurance plan.
- Ensure the software development process followed by the project teams is compliant with approved tailored processes.
- Review and check project’s software development activities and the associated internal tasks required by the agencies as employed by the project and specified in the project plan.
- Define quality standards.
- Assist in managing and improving quality assurance team processes.
- Organize and prepare work effectively to facilitate proactive resolution of problems, rather than reactive.
- Identify and track issues, risks and action items affecting own work and work of team.
- Report on progress of action item resolution and possible risk areas.
- Anticipate and resolve issues specific to the team.
- Determine time estimates and schedule for own work and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Years of Relevant Experience: 5 years software development, testing, and project management
Required Experience:
-Prior experience working as independent testing lead Required 6 Years
-HP LoadRunner Required 4 Years
-Test Plans creation Required 6 Years
-Prior experience load testing Required 4 Years
-Prior experience stress testing Required 4 Years
-Prior experience working with Java applications in testing role
-Highly desired 1 Years
