| Duties & Responsibilites : | - This Product Specialist is the expert for the development, upgrade and implementation of new network hardware and set of products.
- Primary responsibility is to ensure availability and facilitate productive use.
- Review, plan and then assist in the implementation of the agency core EVPL infrastructure.
- Continue to upgrade and assist in the agency Network Redundancy project and environment
- Upgrade the WAN communication for the agency Disaster Recovery planning and implementation
- Plan and implement Cisco IOS Upgrades
- Upgrade core infrastructure communications for SPIRIT
- Upgrade core infrastructure communications for the KIDS
- Upgrade core infrastructure communications for the DHS, divisions, institutions and hospitals
Security Framework
- Recommend ways of upgrading the Network Environment (LAN, WAN and Enterprise).
Required Skills:
- Integration, installation and operational experience with Cisco Switching, Layer 2 & 3-Required- 4 Years
- Integration, installation and operational experience with Cisco Routers- Required- 4 Years
- Integration, installation and operational experience with Cisco IOS- Required- 4 Years
- Integration, installation and operational experience with Nexus 7000- Required- 4 Years
- Network infrastructure build and migration design and implementation experience- Required- 2 Years
- Experience with IT Security mandates and protocols- Required- 1 Years
- Strong Communication Skills-Required
- Prior State-level experience or DHS experience- Nice to have
