*Position: Cognos DeveloperLocation: San Diego, CA Duration: 12+ MonthsRequired:-7 years of experience is required.3-5 years in BI Applications (Cognos 10 preferred):Strong experience in requirements gathering and preparing business requirements for BI applications.Strong experience in Cognos including report studio, analysis studio and query studio.Experience using Cognos Framework manager for modeling relational and DMR models.Experience in using Cognos Transformer to build and refresh cubes.Well versed with SQL and MDX concepts.Preferred Experience building Cognos 10 active reports.Experience in trouble shooting data warehouse refresh issues and BI reports data validation with source systems. Experience in design and development of advanced reports using multiple queries, bursting, drill-through, conditional formatting, master-detail reports, etc. in report studio against relational data sources.Experience in report design and development with OLAP (Cube) data sources using MDX functions.
