Provide guidelines, reviews and support to developers and business analysts creating unit tests and integrating them into the build cycles. 2. Manage teams performing testing activities, including UI automation, integration testing, performance and scalability testing 3. Review and provide guidance on the test scope and output of testers performing exploratory testing in development sprints 4. Facilitate, record and capture information from demos and clinical validations 5. Create status reporting mechanisms to monitor the status of the above activities 6. Host integration discussions, with representatives of all test teams, identify and help resolve road blocks 7. Ensure that requirements and deliverables are verified and validated at each testing phase and final acceptance 8. Prepare test protocols and reports which meet regulatory requirements, during the final test cycle 9. Help keep test processes streamlined for efficiency 10. Be the primary advocate for the adoption of methodologies which are appropriate for the project. Skills Needed . 84 months of experience planning, designing, developing and executing test strategies based on software specifications. Experience must include creating test plans, test schedules, test reports, and creating test strategies. . 84 months of experience coordinating, tracking, and analyzing testing activities working directly with business analysts, business and technical subject matter experts. . Experience must include hands-on use of defect management tools to identify, document, track and communicate problems to technical staff. . 84 Months of experience using functional test tools. . 60 months hands-on experience recording and scripting automated functional tests. Experience must detail the use of specific automation tools and processes/methods used to create automated tests from manual functional tests. . 48 months direct hands-on experience as a Test / QA Lead working on large software development and data migration project(s). Experience must detail team leadership responsibilities. . 36 Months of experience creating user test scripts and managing User Acceptance Testing. . 36 Months experience using HP Quick Test Professional (QTP), Mercury, or HP Unified Functional Testing (UFT) to automate manual functional test scripts. . 36 Months of experience in using HP Quality Center. . 24 months of experience scripting Performance and Stress tests using HP LoadRunner.
