| Duties & Responsibilites : | -Senior _javascript_ UI Developers to work with technologies including jQuery, Angular.js, Backbone.js, Ember.js, CSS3, HTML5, and other technologies to build digital dashboard applications for desktops, tablets, and mobiles using responsive web design and the most advanced UX tools for a new globally situated Interactive Design Services group, which was founded to create new ways for individuals to manage their health care choices and costs.
-Applicants must have strong user interface development, experience with _javascript_, jQuery, CSS3 and HTML5, and experience using the latest user interface techniques. Any experience with jQuery, Angular.js, Backbone.js, Ember.js, or AJAX is highly preferred! Responsibilities of _javascript_ UI Developers:
- Leverage modern _javascript_ frameworks such as JQuery, Backbone.js, Ember.js, Angular.js, etc… to build world class user interfaces for web applications.
- Evaluate, demo and select new _javascript_ technologies and development patterns to be leveraged across the team.
- Write, design, or edit web page content, or direct others producing content.
- Confer with management or development teams to prioritize needs, resolve conflicts, develop content criteria, or choose solutions.
- Identify and correct problems uncovered by testing or customer feedback.
- Emphasis on code that it is valid, is properly structured, meets industry standards and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems.
- Iteratively improve applications through various channels, including deployments and user-interface improvements.
- Work side-by-side with User Experience designers, leveraging multimedia content creation applications and digital media to continuously strive for the best Customer Experience.
- Provide expert-level knowledge to business partners in writing, designing and improving content of web and mobile applications.
- Ability to develop quickly and with high quality via Sprints under the SCRUM methodology.
- Collaborate with business leaders, stakeholders and development teams in prioritizing stories and building requirements for successful delivery.
- Own your role and development, conducting deep dives into potential issues with an eye for identifying, solving and correcting problems to limit Customer impact.
- Insist on a high standard of development in production releases. Be prepared to review code and provide positive feedback with suggestions on how to improve performance, quality and delivery within the organizational standards and best practices, including innovation on new technology and industry standards as they pertain to multi-browser/device development.
Requirements of Sr _javascript_ UI Developer:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years _javascript_ experience (advanced/expert level)
- Core understanding of _javascript_, not just experience with _javascript_ libraries
- 3+ years JQuery experience (advanced/expert level)
- 3+ years AJAX experience (advanced/expert level)
- Object oriented _javascript_
- Angular or Backbone
- RESTful services
- JSON
Plusses of Sr _javascript_ UI Developer:
- HTML5/CSS3 (intermediate level or above)
- SQL (intermediate level or above)
- Working knowledge of Apache, Java, Adobe CQ , PHP or ASP.NET
