*Position : Hyperion Consultant Location : Alpharetta , GA Duration : 6+ Months * *Phone!!! GC or USC Only* *KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:* As a key member of the FSOG Hyperion team the position: • Has a primary responsibility for development and support of the Hyperion Applications and their interfaces which include HFM/FDM, Hyperion Planning and Essbase ASO Reporting cubes • Will maintain the metadata across the Hyperion Applications • Manages and develops the HFM Rule file and the Hyperion Planning Business Rules • Develops reports in Smartview and Financial Reporting • Design and deliver end-user training and training materials, provide technical and data support as necessary. • Understand and comprehends system changes as they affect data, reports, and reporting systems • Ability to manage tasks/projects with aggressive deadlines/time-sensitivity • Day to day maintenance of Essbase and OBIEE integration tools following vendor roll off from the project • Other duties as assigned. *REQUIRED EDUCATION/TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:* • Expertise across HFM/FDM, Hyperion Planning and Essbase ASO (5 years+) including Application configuration and upgrading • Expertise across Hyperion Financial Reporting and Smartview (5 years+) • Performance Tuning of Essbase BSO and ASO cubes and Business Rules • Experience of Data and Object Migration between environments • Knowledge of finance processes together with knowledge of standard finance systems (e.g. Oracle EBS) • Experience with Essbase and OBIEE integration using tools like ODI, Essbase Studio and SQL is required • Advanced SQL knowledge on Oracle RDBMS for performance tuning of interfaces • Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, MS Project) or equivalents is highly desired • Knowledge of Oracle Business Intelligence and the Oracle Financial Analytics module within OBIEE is an advantage • Attention to detail with strong verbal and written communication skills as well as strong problem-solving abilities. • Experience in gathering reporting requirements from multiple business units, organizing and translating the requirements into individual reports in the application and prioritizing them for reports development and testing • Experience operating in a reporting governance model to help facilitate new intake of reports, mapping to existing reports and help with elimination of redundancy and duplication of reports in a Production environment • Flexibility to travel, if required. *OTHER DESIRED SKILLS & CHARACTERISTICS:* • Oracle Hyperion 11 Certification is desirable but not required. • Experience with global companies with multiple locations in different groups and multi-currency reporting. • Track record of identifying and analyzing problems, identifying & evaluating options, deploying sound decision making skills. • P&C Insurance experience would be highly beneficial. *Regards* *Ishan Salaria* *Sr. Technical Recruiter* *VSG Business Solutions* *221 Cornwell Dr,Bear, DE 19701* *Contact No: 302-261-3207 Ext: 102* *Email: [email protected] <[email protected]>* * Gtalk : usrecruite *[image: View my profile on LinkedIn] <https://www.linkedin.com/profile/view?id=120384244&trk=nav_responsive_tab_profile> Note: If you have received this mail in error or prefer not to receive such emails in the future, please reply with "REMOVE" in the subject line and the email id(s) to be removed.
