Duties & Responsibilites :	-This team is willing to consider anyone who has Mainframe experience. -They would be serving as a consultant for a 3 month project during the client's transition away from Mainframe. -As a result, the selected individual can have a background in development or systems administration. -This is not a clear-cut role of development or administration; the client is looking for someone to advise and make suggestions. Required to administer the system by configuring and troubleshooting: -Backup architechture using HSM ABARS, including tape and media management -Storage/SAN management in VTAM -Printer Configuration using VPS -User Account Management in RACF -Reporting out of SAR -Manager the IPL schedule -Administration and systems troubleshooting through SMF Required Skills: - Strong knowledge of IBM Mainframe, JCL coding, and multi-LPAR configuration. Preferred Skills: - Experience in Natural/Construct Programming - Prefer experience administering IBM DB2 and ADABASE database systems.
