Position – VP Level Project Manager Location: New York City, NY Duration: Long Term Contract Interview: Telephonic and In person Candidate to have a solid experience being a Project Manager in Technology with Regulatory projects Main Function · Project Management delivery expertise is required to manage the delivery of a global Market Surveillance system. The role holder will have overall responsibility (along with relevant Subject Matter Expert) for the successful delivery of the project to plan, budget and agreed quality of governance standards. This will include end-to-end responsibility for forecasting and communication. The role holder will plan and monitor the progress, resolve issues, as appropriate and will consistently maintain accurate project status information for senior stakeholders. The role holder will additionally review technical designs and organise UAT testing (supported by IT Test Manager). He/she will also be responsible for TOM implementation and training. The role holder will need to communicate at senior levels within Compliance, Front Office, Operations and Technology. Main Duties · A recent proven track record in the implementation of trade/transaction monitoring systems. Global wealth management implementation experience. A sound understanding of trade booking systems and trade flows for various asset classes. A strong knowledge of banking practices and regulatory requirements, in particular knowledge of Market Abuse regulations. Excellent analytical and organizational skills. · The candidate should have strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to confidently liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders including IT, Compliance, Operations and Business Representatives. Skills in SQL or other querying tool skills and familiarity with databases would be advantageous. Familiarity with reporting packages or advanced Microsoft Excel is desirable. Attention to detail is a must without getting bogged down. · Once in role, develop in depth knowledge of Client’s Wealth customer base and segments, as well as Group Market Abuse policies and standards. Solid experience in delivering critical Business initiatives. Ability to develop and produce a Business Transformation plans. Ability to challenge and to be innovative. Be proactive (self-starter) Strong operational management experience, including development of new processes, risk and incident management. Experience in operating in a Regulated Business Environment with exposure to governance, control and risk management and a proven ability to effectively work across teams at all levels.
