| Duties & Responsibilites : | -Review business requirements and develop technical solutions.
-Manage and deliver on assigned technical aspects of projects.
-Design, develop, drive and deliver technology solutions and vision for multiple projects that are aligned to Global Technology Strategies and Standards.
-Facilitate the development of professional and technical skills for self and peers.
-Analysis, design, development and support of the Global JDE 8.12 system - strong functional and technical knowledge in at least two of the JDE modules in
a) Master Data Management (i.e. Address book, Item Master, Chart of accounts, UDCs etc.)
b) Sales, Logistics and Transportation modules and b) EDI Integrations.
- Analysis, design and development activities in system related process improvements, JDE integrations and/or system upgrades; resolve complex problems, strong knowledge of SDLC.
- Gather/document business requirements based on JDE technology.
- Programming/technical support using E1 development toolset
- Develop proficiency in MDM and Logistics/transportation modules + Baxter enhancements
- Support development of functional specs/create detailed technical specs \
- Code/test/debug/document programming application activities following SDLC/quality validation
- Develop test requirements, prepare/document test data for unit and verification testing
- Demonstrate complex problem-solving skills to assist in resolution of business problems/propose solutions to prevent recurring problems.
- Work cooperatively with technical or application personnel across IT to accomplish enterprise wide goals and resolve conflict.
- Develop expertise to work with business vendors to resolve day-to-day problems or make process changes.
- Manage small to medium size projects
- Effectively work in a matrix environment with outsourced development activities
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EXPERIENCE:
- 10+ years’ in systems support/development, applying systems solutions to business problems
- 3+ year’ hands-on/technical E1 programming experience with EnterpriseOne functional knowledge in at least two modules: MDM, Logistics, Transportation, Order Management.
- Strong supply chain business knowledge and project management skills
