| Duties & Responsibilites : | -This is an exciting opportunity to drive the design and development of innovative software products.
-You will decipher customer needs, translate these needs into requirements, and define functional specifications for clinical software.
-You will work with life sciences industry experts and a world-class software engineering team to transform complex needs into tangible software solutions.
-Understand and document the business needs of our Sponsor/CRO customers
-Break high level requirements into thorough, detailed, user-focused specifications
-Facilitate the design and development of product features
-Interview subject matter experts, customers, and other stakeholders to identify and clarify requirements
-Use your own Pharma/CRO subject matter expertise to be able to understand customer requirements and translate to technical requirements in an agile fashion.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
-5+ years of business analyst experience working in an end-user environment, and a role/consulting role within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or CRO industries
-Demonstrated knowledge of clinical trial proposal process and pricing methodology
-Demonstrated knowledge of clinical trial budget management and financial concepts (percent complete, revenue recognition methods, variance analysis, etc.)
-Demonstrated success understanding the business issues and data challenges of a individual client and or markets and translating these into well defined business requirements and functional specifications
-Hands-on experience working closely with development and engineering teams through a product life-cycle process
-Must have strong working knowledge of various dept functions (one or more) of a Pharma/CRO. E.g., ClinOps, Finance, Outsourcing, Procurement
-Excellent analytical, listening, presentation, and communication skills
Additional Capabilities/Experience Desired
-Experience with clinical trial systems (CTMS, EDC, IRT) and clinical trial processes
-Experience with Agile development methodologies
-Experience creating wireframes/mockups
-Experience defining data integration/API requirements and specifications
-Have a passion for technology and be a self-starter who enjoys new challenges
-Recent experience as a Business Systems Analyst |
