Duties & Responsibilites :	The Senior Engineer for Mobile and Product Security plays a key role in providing a secure mobile experience to  Customers and protecting critical assets from threats in the mobile ecosystem by applying expertise in mobile application and operating system security, mobile product security, and mobile threat detection and analysis. This role will plan, coordinate, design, and implement security measures for information systems to regulate access to mobile applications, devices, services, and networks and prevent unauthorized modification, destruction or disclosure of information. - Perform security, compliance, and risk assessments on projects throughout project lifecycle using sdlc, waterfall or rup methodologies - Lead information security review of new technologies, designs, and remediation planning efforts - Maintain visibility inside & outside of Corporate Information Security, interfacing with groups such as Product Development, Product Management, Enterprise IT, Engineering, Legal, Privacy, and Risk Management. - Investigates and/or leads identifying security needs & recommends plans/resolutions. Implements, tests & monitors information security improvements - Support information security policy throughout lifecycle including intake, creation, review, approval, implementation, publishing, communication & maintenance - Lead security projects driven by groups both internal and external to information security - Mentor peers and junior team members in security technologies, enterprise solution design, SDLC facilitation and effective customer interaction. Minimum Required Skills / Competencies: - Be subject matter expert in multiple security subject areas - Good verbal and communication skills with diverse cross functional groups & the ability to present effectively to small & large groups - Ability to plan, organize and prioritize tasks to complete independently, as well as delegate and track progress within the team, all within the time frame established - Knowledge of information security policies and regulatory controls (per team function) - Minimum 6 years of experience in info security technology or related field Preferred skills: - Knowledge of current technological trends and developments in the area of info security - Knowledge of Android and/or iOS security framework and application development - Experience in product development and management lifecycle, particularly for mobile products and services - In-depth knowledge of security best practices in large-scale environments - Experience with high level design architecture, security technologies, Networking, web services and SOA - Understanding of encryption, obfuscation, tokenization technologies - Previous leadership experience, a plus - Mobile Network Operator or telecommunications industry work experience - 4 years of college courses in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field - CISA, CISM, or CISSP certifications
