*214-541-9047 Position: ETL Developer (USC/GC Only) Location: Phoenix, AZ Duration: 6+ months* *Job Responsibilities:* •*Data Warehouse Developer*: *Creates BI/Data Warehousing cube design and ETL Processes* •Responsible for *data warehouse design, development, testing, support and configuration*. •Responsible for documenting and updating procedures for change management. •Review business requests or data warehouse data and data warehouse usage, researches data sources for new end better data feeds. •Must maintain strict quality control over data analysis and information delivery in a fast paced environment •Assist in continuous improvement efforts in enhancing performance and providing increased functionality and supporting production systems based on business requirements. •Administer key department reporting database applications. •Develops reporting from multiple internal and external data sources to support •Works with developers to implement the logical database design in the physical environment •Coordinates the development, tuning and modification of stored procedures •*Test, install and deploy all databases and stored procedures to production servers* •*Manage database security -*application and user logins •*Create SSIS/DTS ETL packages* •*Data Architecture:* Create/maintain the data architecture to increase the robustness, performance, and scalability of reporting and analytics systems. Provide oversight and direction for the design and development of the data infrastructure. Responsible for the development of logical data models and physical database design and semantic data layer(s) needed to support business and analytic requirements. •*Data Integrity*: Maintain quality of data in the reporting and analytics systems ensuring: integrity of data, the correction of any data problems, data currency, and the established design procedures to purge/archive old data. Provide guidance to OIT regarding data consistency between OLTP systems and the Enterprise Data Warehouse. •*Data Integration*: Create/maintain the ETL architecture and design. Participate in the university’s data governance program. Mentor reporting and analytics team members on ETL tools and architecture. Create streamlined, scalable integration solutions to support BI and analytic environment. •*Project Management*: Track progress and communicate effectively with key stakeholders to ensure successful completion of the project within targeted time, cost, and quality.
