Duties & Responsibilites :	Local Candidate Preferred: -Demonstration of strong decision making skills. -Ability to multi-task and adjust priorities based on workload. -Excellent Coordination and time management skills. -Strong inter-personal and communication skills with co-workers, vendors and customers required. -Ability to solve and document problems quickly and completely. -Engineering/Advanced troubleshooting ability. -Candidate must show ability to logically work through issues, communicate to management as well as have experience in troubleshooting Network outages while being under pressure.   Highly detailed working knowledge of the following: -CheckPoint Firewalls. -F5 Networks Load Balancers -Cisco core router devices and configurations.. -All Routing protocols and configurations (to support BGP, OSPF  EIGRP) -Switching and configuration options (VLANS, HSRP, NSSA, DHCP, PBR, VPN’s, NAT, ect) -Internet applications and their protocols ( TCP, UDP, Peer to peer type apps, mail, news, web surfing, SNMP, ect) -DOCSIS knowledge is desirable -Knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems. -Knowledge of Redseal, Tufin Secure Track or Tripwire desirable. -Knowledge of Arbor Networks Peakflow TMS, Radware Defense Pro desirable. -Scripting languages a plus. ( Perl, CGI, Java and PHP) REQUIRED SKILLS: Security Patches, Unix experience, expereince with Cisco and Checkpoint Firewalls, proxy/load balancing experience a plus Interview Process: In Person
