| Duties & Responsibilites : | -Selected candidate will participate in a project that initially involves about 6 months of Data Migration, then will move on to contribute to the .NET Development effort
-The candidate should have all of the following requirements to be considered for a position on the data migration team.
Experience / Skills
-6+ years of software development experience
-6+ years of object oriented programming experience (Visual Basic, Java, C#, VB.NET)
-6+ years using Microsoft SQL Server
-Read, understand and write custom queries
-Manipulate data from one data source to another data source
-Ability to read, understand and interpret legacy code (VB6, C# and VB.Net)
-Ability to produce technical and non-technical documentation based off of legacy code
-Must be a self-starter
-Must be able to work independently
-Experience working in a team oriented environment
-Experience working with multiple team members (BA, Developer, DBA, System Architect, PM)
-Well organized with great attention to detail
-Great communication Skills
-Speaks clearly and is easy to understand
-Can communicate effectively with multiple team members at a given time
-Email communications are clear and to the point
-Not afraid to ask questions or ask for help
-Will ask for additional work once assigned work is completed
-Can adhere to tight deadlines and due dates
-Prepared and prompt to any and all meetings
-Familiar following a SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
-Data Migration experience a plus
-SCRUM / AGILE experience a plus
