| Duties & Responsibilites : | - This job entails being a web developer for customer facing web pages for the Digital Life organization.
- The developer will interact daily with Information Architects, graphic designers, and server side developers to create web pages for various needs for customers.
- The developer will be part of a small agile team developing client interfaces for the web, mobile web, as well as native smart phone applications. The developer may also be called to develop web pages for internal use as well as mobile web development.
- The developer will be expected to architect and design solutions that enable desired functionality, yet is easy adaptable to changing requirements. In addition, the solution must be reliable, secure, and meets performance needs.
Must Have:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in developing web pages and _javascript_.
- Solid understanding HTML/HTML5
- Experience in developing with _javascript_ libraries such as jQuery, DOJO, node.js, Prototype, ExtJS, Backbone, Angular
- CSS/CSS3
- 10/10 FLAWLESS COMMUNICATION
Required Skills:
- BS (MS or PhD) degree in Engineering/Math/Science.
- 5+ years’ experience (3+ with MS or 1+ with PhD) in software development organizations with direct involvement in design, coding, test and trouble shooting.
- Excellent verbal & written communications skills to communicate highly technical concepts to wide-ranging audiences
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in developing web pages and _javascript_.
- Solid understanding HTML/HTML5
- Experience in developing with _javascript_ libraries such as jQuery, DOJO, node.js, Prototype, ExtJS, Backbone, Angular
- CSS/CSS3
- Experience with AJAX Side development
- REST and SOAP web services with JSON and XML
- Familiarity with developing mobile web pages utilizing JQuery Mobile, Sencha Touch, Phone Gap
- WebGL experience
- Experience using a CMS (possibly DayCQ)
- Working knowledge of Unix/Linux systems
- Positive attitude with ability to work with individually and with a team.
Desired Skills:
- Java
- J2EE including JSP, Servlets, Java Spring, Struts, JSF, Java Applets
- Is familiar with native smart phone development (iOS, Android, WinPhone 7).
- Familiarity working with different video players/standards/frameworks (HLS, Flash, MJPEG, MPEG-4)
- Has worked in an agile type of environment is able to quickly adapt code to incomplete or ever changing requirements.
