| Duties & Responsibilites : | - Provides business process support that will include duties such as root cause analysis, mapping of current processes or systems, iterative problem definition and hypothesized improvement opportunities. - Significant experience developing and using SIPOC analysis, process maps, RACI, Six Sigma, LEAN, or other related methodologies. - Includes planning and assistance with facilitation of Kaizen events. Involves re-engineering of existing processes and development / implementation of performance measures. Most important requirement: - gnificant experience in and strong knowledge of business process improvement, leveraging methods such as Six Sigma, LEAN, Kaizen, etc. - Six Sigma / Lean Certifications highly desired - 3+ years experience in financial services environment - Cammercial Banking experience desired but not required - Very strong Quantitative & Analytical Skills, with strategic application of experience - Ability to effectively communicate across multiple levels (Executive Sponsors to team members). Abilioty to influence and encourage collaboration across functional areas - Proven ability to lead a diverse group towards resolution when faced with ambiguous situations Note - this is not a technical or systems position in any form; the focus is on business processes. - This position will be based out of McLean, VA, with frequent (~30%, in surges) travel required to various Capital One Commercial Bank offices, primarily those in the DC area, Richmond, NY, NJ, LA, and TX. |
