| Duties & Responsibilites : | -We are looking for an experienced UX Researcher with a passion for improving user- experience.
-You will drive research efforts on a variety of products in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
-You will work closely with product owners, designers, engineers, and developers to create and improve next-generation online experiences.
-Prepare user-centered design plans for strategizing projects and identifying research methodology best suited for addressing test objectives.
-Design and conduct user research studies of mobile phones, services, and low-fidelity prototypes with representative end users.
-Analyze both qualitative and quantitative data to uncover usability problems and present findings to product teams and business stakeholders including senior executives.
-Create user interface flows and develop new concepts based on usability findings.
- Collaborate with designers, developers and device manufacturers for optimal and timely resolution of usability findings and recommendations.
- Develop information architecture, site map and content taxonomy.
- Analyze, test, and modify web and mobile applications to improve user experience
MINIMUM REQUIRED SKILLS / COMPETENCIES:
-2+ years of industry experience conducting user research and proven, tangible impacts to in-market consumer products
-A Master’s degree in Behavioral Psychology is required, with preference for HCI, HCDE, HCD or related discipline
-Proven experience in UCD project from user research, iterative design, evaluation and launch.
-Strong understanding of user interface design principles; knowledge of statistical analysis
-Experience in designing and running experimental research is required
-Strong oral, written, presentation, and negotiating skills are required
-Ability to work independently in a cross functional team with limited direction
-Direct experience with lab, guerrilla, and remote usability testing, eye tracking, wants and needs analysis, field studies, contextual inquires, paper-prototype testing, heuristic evaluation, cognitive walk-throughs, participatory design, quantitative and qualitative data analysis, survey design, card sorting, and data-driven persona development for web and mobile applications
-Familiarity with software tools such as Morae, Survey Gizmo, Visio, Web Trends, Excel, Axure, Balsamiq, etc
