Duties & Responsibilites :	-The Programmer would be driving systems analysis, design, programming, documentation, performance evaluation, or implementation of complex system applications and related Management Information Systems/Automated Data Processing (MIS/ADP) systems concepts for effective implementation of the State's Traffic / Accident System. -The individual will participates in all phases of the software development life cycle with emphasis on the planning, analysis, testing and acceptance phases. -The candidate will design and prepare technical reports and related documentation, and makes charts and graphs to record results. -They will also prepare and deliver presentations and briefings as required, while also leading tasks on occassion. -The candidate should have7 years progressive experience in the analysis and design of business applications using database management systems and /or high level programming languages. with recent hands-on experience within the last two years. REQUIRED EDUCATION: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline is required. Skill Set: -ESRI mapping experience, preferably with tools like ArcIMS, ArcSDE, and ArcGIS Engine, over GPS/GIS experience is the core business need. -Experience with C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, XML, or XSLT along with Sql Server / Oracle would be key in handling the web-based aspect of the GIS programming and information.
